Tessitura Carlo Papis is above all a family business, a quality that has enabled it to maintain over time the craftsmanship typical of such a time-honoured art and to grow in expertise that today distinguishes it in the market.

Originating from Como's textile tradition, the business is now part of the small excellence of Made in Italy. Its 30 latest generation looms, split between plain and jacquard, produce fabrics mainly for Italian textile converters, who, after the finishing, resell them to the big names in luxury and pret-à-porter fashion.
